Sarah Hayley Orrantia

Sarah Hayley Orrantia (born February 21st the 21st of February 1994) is an American performer, actress, and songwriter. Her most famous character is the role of Erica Goldberg in the ABC comedy series The Goldbergs. She was a member of Lakoda Rayne, a country pop group formed by Paula Abdul during the first season of The X Factor. In the year 2015, she released "Love Sick", her debut single. The debut EP, The Way Out (May 2019), was released. Orrantia started singing when she was nine years old , and started her professional education at the age of 12. When she was 13, she wrote her first song. By 15, she had recorded her first EP of covers and was writing with songwriter Jamie Houston who at the time was most famous as the songwriter for the three Disney High School Musical movies. Orrantia was chosen to audition for The X Factor's first season in the summer 2011. Orrantia was chosen from an online YouTube entry and was awarded four votes of approbation from judges during the live audition stage in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was solo, but at Hollywood Week she and three other women singers were placed in a group for the auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week of live shows.
